Questar Games LLC operates Screw Puzzle: Workshop (the Game), package and bundle identifier questar.games.screw.puzzle. This policy explains information handling in the Android and iOS versions. Contact us at info@questar.games for privacy questions or requests.

Information used by the Game

Local game data. Progress, completed puzzles, move records, settings, coins, tools, styles and purchase entitlements are stored on your device. No game account or cloud save is required. Device backups are controlled by your operating system. Clearing app data or reinstalling can remove local progress.

Analytics and diagnostics. The release game uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. Analytics includes app and device information, installation or app-instance identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, gameplay events such as level starts and results, mode, move count, play time, tool use, coins earned or spent, and service or consent-screen status. Crash reports include error messages, stack traces, app version and technical device information. We use this information to understand play, balance the game and investigate failures. Analytics and crash reporting are enabled in the release game; the advertising choices described below are not a separate analytics opt-out. Firebase advertising storage, advertising user-data and ad-personalization signals are disabled by the Game.

Advertising and consent. Ads use Unity LevelPlay/ironSource and Unity Ads. Depending on the network, region, device settings and choices, advertising services may process IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device and app information, permitted advertising identifiers and service-generated pseudonymous identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and consent signals. These identifiers can be used even though the Game has no player login. They support ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization. InMobi Choice stores and communicates your applicable consent and privacy choices. Refusing personalization does not mean every form of technical or advertising data processing stops.

Purchases. Only iOS offers optional one-time purchases. Apple processes payment; we do not receive your full payment-card details. The Game checks StoreKit transactions and keeps product and transaction identifiers and entitlement state locally to deliver, restore and avoid duplicating purchases. Firebase Analytics also records iOS purchase events, including product identifier, name and price, associated with the app-instance identifier. Android has no in-app purchases.

Support. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate your issue. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Your choices

Open Settings → Ad privacy choices to view or change the applicable choices through InMobi Choice. Options depend on your region and may include consent withdrawal or opt-outs from sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Advertising data disclosures can qualify as sale or sharing under some privacy laws even without a monetary payment. You may also use your device's advertising-identifier and privacy settings. On iOS, the Game requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission when that request is available. If you allow tracking, advertising partners may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads and measure their performance across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline or tracking is restricted, the advertising identifier is not available. This Apple permission is separate from the consent choices above. You can review or change it in your device's privacy settings; core gameplay does not require tracking permission.

Core puzzles work offline. Network services, ads and purchases need a connection. Removing ads through an iOS purchase suppresses forced ads; it does not disable analytics or crash reporting, and optional reward videos remain available.

Service providers and other recipients

Information is handled by the providers described above for their respective services. Their policies explain additional processing and choices:

We may disclose relevant information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. These services may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Retention, security and privacy rights

Local game data remains until removed by you or the operating system. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Service data follows the relevant provider's retention settings and policies. We do not promise that uninstalling deletes information already received by a provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. We use information to provide the Game and support, maintain and improve it, meet legal obligations and, where required, on consent. Contact info@questar.games to exercise rights; we may request information needed to verify and locate the relevant records. We do not require an account to make a request.

Children and changes

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We may update this policy as the Game changes. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as required.
