1. Summary
- We do not require an account, login, name, email address, or password to play. - The Game is playable offline. Core gameplay does not depend on the network. - We use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. These may collect device and usage identifiers. - On supported devices we offer a one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. - We do not sell your personal information for money. - The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
2. Information we collect
We do not ask you to provide personal information directly. The following is collected automatically by the Game and the third-party SDKs it uses:
### a. Device and technical information - Device model, operating system version, language and region settings. - App version and configuration. - A mobile advertising identifier — IDFA on iOS (only after you allow tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt) and the Advertising ID (GAID) on Android — used by our advertising partners.
### b. Usage and gameplay analytics - In-game events such as game mode selected, level start/complete, game over, continues, store opened, and screen views. - Approximate, aggregated usage statistics used to understand engagement and improve the Game.
We collect these through Google Firebase Analytics.
### c. Crash and performance data - Diagnostic information about crashes and performance issues (stack traces, device state at the time of a crash) via Google Firebase Crashlytics, so we can fix problems.
### d. Advertising data - To show ads we use Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) mediation together with ad networks including Unity Ads and other partners. These partners may process your advertising identifier, IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. Whether ads are personalized or non-personalized depends on your consent choices (see Section 5).
### e. Purchase data - If you buy the "Remove Ads" product, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation that the purchase was completed (purchase/transaction status), which we store on your device to unlock the entitlement. We never receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by the app store.
### f. Locally stored data (stays on your device) - Game settings, progress, and high scores are saved locally on your device using standard on-device storage. If you enable the daily reminder, a local notification is scheduled on the device. This data is not transmitted to us and can be cleared with Settings → Clear User Data.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to: - Provide, operate, and maintain the Game. - Understand how the Game is used and improve gameplay, balance, and stability. - Diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems. - Display and measure advertising, and to offer an ad-free option. - Deliver the daily reminder notification if you opt in. - Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Third-party services
The Game relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy | |---|---|---| | Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) | Analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration | https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy | | Unity LevelPlay / ironSource | Ad mediation | https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy | | Unity Ads and other mediated ad networks | Advertising | https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy | | InMobi Choice (Consent Management Platform) | Collecting and storing your consent choices | https://www.inmobi.com/privacy-policy | | Apple App Store / Google Play Billing | In-app purchases | https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ · https://policies.google.com/privacy |
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
5. Your choices and consent
### Advertising consent (EEA/UK) On first launch in regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK), a consent dialog from our Consent Management Platform (InMobi Choice) is shown. Your choices determine whether ads are personalized or non-personalized. Declining personalization does not remove ads — it means you will see non-personalized ads. You can change your choices at any time in Settings → Consent Reset.
### App Tracking Transparency (iOS) On iOS, the system shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used. You can allow or deny tracking there and change it later in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
### Advertising ID controls You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
### Remove ads On supported platforms you can purchase Remove Ads to stop seeing advertisements.
### Clear local data Settings → Clear User Data deletes your locally stored progress, scores, and settings from the device (your Remove-Ads entitlement is preserved).
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: - Consent — for personalized advertising and the use of advertising identifiers, collected via our Consent Management Platform. - Legitimate interests — for analytics, crash reporting, and non-personalized advertising necessary to operate and improve the Game and keep it free. - Performance of a contract — to deliver in-app purchases you request.
You may withdraw consent at any time (Section 5) without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- We do not sell your personal information for money. - To exercise any right, contact us at info@questar.games. We may need to verify your request. Note that much of the data we handle is device-level and not tied to your identity, which can limit our ability to locate it.
8. Data retention
- Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Game. - Analytics and crash data are retained by our service providers according to their standard retention periods; aggregated analytics may be retained for up to 14 months by default in Firebase Analytics.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied by those providers.
10. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is configured as non-child-directed. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact info@questar.games and we will delete it.
11. Security
We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
